Victorians shine at Thumb Pump 300 ATV Festival

The QRCV would like to congratulate all of the Victorian riders who competed at the Thumb Pump 300 ATV Festval over Easter at Pinnaroo, but especially to Aidan and Kellan Robinson for taking out the 90/125 and 300 clases respectively and Cooper Van Vliet fighting his way to 3rd in the 300 Class. Not enough to dominate the Junior class the Senior teams combinations of Ray Cole/ Cam Wade and Jono Wade/Liam Glover took out 1st and 2nd in the teams category of the main 300km race. Victoria also dominated the Sand Drags enduro class with Adam Larson, Ray Cole and Cam Wade taking out 1st, 2nd and 3rd while the QRCV’s own club Vice President, Pete Wilhelms, rode to a respectable 2nd place in the HighBeam 100 night race.

Honorable mentions go out to Mitch Van Vliet who completed the majority of the teams event on his own after brother Harry’s YFZ suffered an electrical problem on his first lap and also to Jake and Vliet and Adam Siemensma who were leading the team class early on the first day only to be knocked out of contention on the final lap with a chain problem on Jakes Honda.
